Vitsoe’s global HQ successfully completed
AMAD’s team in Leamington are celebrating the successful completion of Vitsoe’s global HQ
The 3.3-acre site on Princes Drive, is the first building in Europe to be constructed out of timber structure made up of a beech laminate veneer lumber.
AMAD Project manager Clive Williams has brought in the build on time and within budget. Clive said: ‘The build has been technically challenging. Vitsoe are a world class furniture company that places design at the core of everything it does. Their expectations were high and we have met those expectations. We have completed a huge development the size of an aircraft hangar but with the finish and attention to detail you would expect in luxury development.’
AMAD’s managing director Andrew Miles said: ‘It’s been hard work for the team. The level of craftsmanship which has gone into this build is not normally what you would expect from a development of this size. It’s been a tremendous privilege to build, what in effect, is a work of art.’
Vitseo will create 40 jobs at the former Ford Foundry site. The company was founded in Frankfurt, West Germany in 1959 and relocated to the UK in 1995. The company currently exports its furniture to over 60 countries.
