The current uncertain climate of the UK housing market; higher interest rates, falling house prices, lack of supply of mortgage funds – all of these issues mean that more people are adopting the “improve, don’t move” culture!

A recent survey by Credit-Expert, found that “91% of homeowners who had been planning a move are now going to stay put for at least another six months”, while other figures show that 2.7m owners have called off plans to move this year. www.timesonline.co.uk

Therefore this shows that although large construction companies are suffering, the current situation is giving smaller companies such as ourselves, the opportunity to thrive!!

“Stay-put fever is now rife across the UK”!
