AMAD’s mane man paints away pressures
AMAD’s Andy Miles paints away the pressures of running the company by creating life like life images.
Andy swaps the hard hat of the building site for a pencil and easel in the evenings as a way of letting off steam.
Andy, AMAD’s managing director, said: ‘I’ve always enjoyed painting since college and recently I’ve found it’s a good way of relaxing after a day on the sites.
‘There’s a million things to do during the day, but with painting makes you focus on one thing and that focus is takes your mind off work.’
Andy, who discovered a talent for painting while studying architecture at Hull University said he’s received a couple of commissions for his work.
‘A couple of friends has asked for pictures of their partners which I’m happy to do – time permitting as I’ve a busy business to run.’
