AMAD hires a new architect graduate

AMAD have hired a new Part 1 architect to help with the company’s continued expansion.

Ben Gleadhill joins the company from completing his undergraduate degree at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

Ben, from Warwick, will be taking his masters in Architecture at Birmingham City University while working at AMAD’s office in Alcester.

During his time at university Ben studied the work and processes of Danish architect Bjarke Ingels.

Ben, 23, said: ‘Ingels is a particular influence on my outlook as his work starts by identifying the key criteria of a projects, what’s the greatest problem and what’s the biggest potential.

‘His work process is systematic and works precisely within the parameters of the physical and human nature of the job.

‘This attention to detail and systems delivers work that almost seem to be the only logical solution to suit the client and situational needs. This approach is something I wish to incorporate into my work as a trainee architect at AMAD.’
